The Pentagon and Mark Center Credentialing Offices serve DoD civilians, DoD contractors, and service members of all branches of the US military who require a Common Access Card (CAC) or need to renew their CAC.
NOTE: These offices are NOT full service DEERS facilities as they do not produce dependent or retiree ID cards. In addition, the Mark Center Pass Office is only accessible to individuals who have swipe access to the facility. Customers must receive an approval notification from their Authorizing Official prior to making an appointment. Customers should arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment.
NOTE: Customers requesting CAC services at the Pentagon Credentialing Office located at the Metro Entrance Facility must be sponsored for a registered visit.
Mark Center Credentialing Office
7am to 3pm, Mon - Fri
Customers must receive an approval notification from their Authorizing Official prior to making an appointment. Customers should arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment.
NOTE: Personnel who need to make a RAPIDS appointment for CAC services at the Mark Center Credentialing Office, located in room 01C27, must have either current access to the facility or a pre-registered visit and an escort with Mark Center building access. If you do not have access to the Mark Center, please have your DoD sponsor submit a visitor request for you, at least 24 hours in advance, through PFPA’s Visitor Invitation Portal (https://visitorsponsor.pfpa.mil).
No escorts will be provided by the Mark Center badging office.

Required Identification
Two forms of ID are required: One must be a local, state, or federal government-issued ID card that bears a photo (e.g. current building pass, passport, driver's license) and an ID that bears the applicant's social security number (e.g. social security card, voter registration card). For CAC renewals, you must bring your expiring CAC.
Physical (swipe) access does not always align with the CAC’s printed expiration. If you currently have access to the Pentagon or Mark Center, you may check your swipe access expiration date by visiting: https://access.pfpa.mil
