Personnel making a RAPIDS appointment for CAC services at the Pentagon Credentialing Office located at the Metro Entrance Facility do not need to register for a visit. However, scheduling an appointment will ensure that they will be helped in a timely manner.

These offices service DoD civilians and contractors, as well as, all branches of the military who require a Common Access Card (CAC) or need to renew their CAC

Pentagon Credentialing Office
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday

Customers with appointments should arrive in the Pentagon Credentialing Office 15 minutes prior to their appointment. Customers will be summoned to a station and should arrive no later than two minutes after being summoned or their appointment slot will be cancelled.

Mark Center Credentialing Office
7am to 3pm, Mon - Fri

Customers with appointments should arrive in the Mark Center Credentialing Office 15 minutes prior to their appointment. Customers will be summoned to a station and should arrive no later than two minutes after being summoned or their appointment slot will be cancelled.

NOTE:  Personnel who need to make a RAPIDS appointment for CAC services at the Mark Center Credentialing Office, located in room 01C27, must have either current access to the facility or a pre-registered visit and an escort with Mark Center building access. If you do not have access to the Mark Center, please have your DoD sponsor submit a visitor request for you, at least 24 hours in advance, through PFPA’s Visitor Invitation Portal (https://visitorsponsor.pfpa.mil).

No escorts will be provided by the Mark Center badging office.

Two forms of ID are required:  One must be a local, state, or federal government-issued ID card that bears a photo (e.g. current building pass, passport, driver's license) and an ID that bears the applicant's social security number (e.g. social security card, voter registration card).  For CAC renewals, you must bring your expiring CAC.

Physical (swipe) access does not always align with the CAC’s printed expiration. If you currently have access to the Pentagon or Mark Center, you may check your swipe access expiration date by visiting: https://access.pfpa.mil
