Any CAC applicant without access must be a registered visitor of a DoD employee sponsor, at least 24 hours in advance through the PFPA Visitor Management System (https://visitorsponsor.pfpa.mil) and must be escorted by an authorized DoD employee. No escorts will be provided by the Credentialing Office.

These offices service DoD civilians and contractors, as well as, all branches of the military who require a Common Access Card (CAC) or need to renew their CAC.

CAC applicants with current building access are accepted on a walk-in basis; however, appointments are recommended to avoid long wait times.

Required Identification

Two forms of government issued IDs are required:  One must be a local, state, or federal government-issued ID card that bears a photo (e.g. current building pass, passport, driver's license) and an ID that bears the applicant's social security number (e.g. social security card, voter registration card).  For CAC renewals, you must bring your expiring CAC.

Physical (swipe) access does not always align with the CAC’s printed expiration. To check your swipe access expiration date, visit: https://access.pfpa.mil
