Chris Bargery

Mr. Chris Bargery currently serves as the Director of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. In this role, he is responsible for the full range of force protection functions for people, missions, and infrastructure of DoD-occupied facilities in the National Capital Region, including the Pentagon, Mark Center, Raven Rock Mountain Complex, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, Defense Health Headquarters, and the Herbert R. Temple, Jr., Army National Guard Readiness Center.

Lewis Ratchford Jr

Mr. Lewis Ratchford, Jr. is currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. In this role, he serves as the principal advisor and executive confidant to the Director, PFPA, with complete authority to act for and make commitments on all matters regarding the functions and responsibilities of the PFPA.

Ms. Shelley Verdejo, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Executive Director for Law Enforcement, Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA). She is the principal advisor to the PFPA Director on law enforcement and force protection matters for the Pentagon Reservation, the Raven Rock Mountain Complex and numerous DoD leased facilities within the National Capital Region.

Dr. James A. Day is currently serving as the PFPA Executive Director for Security Integration and Technology. In this role, he is responsible for the development and operation of the Pentagon’s comprehensive technical solutions across the CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high explosive), information technology, security services, and systems engineering domains.

Woodrow G. Kusse

Kusse has nearly 40 years of law enforcement experience, including a 23-year career as a military policeman in the U.S. Air Force. Retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant, he spent his military career serving in a wide range of assignments that entailed security policy, administration, and antiterrorism, as well as force protection management and operations.
