Pentagon Force Protection Agency Acting Chief of Pentagon Police
Gerald Plummer is currently serving as the Pentagon Force Protection Agency’s Acting Chief of Pentagon Police.
AC Gerald Plummer was appointed as the Assistant Chief, Pentagon Police Division, Pentagon Force Protection Agency on September 5, 2017.
In this capacity, he serves as the second in command to the Chief of Police. This includes managing 600+ police officers and supervisors, stationed in vari-ous locations throughout the National Capital Region. This division is consid-ered the largest division within the Pentagon Force Protection Agency.
AC Gerald Plummer began his law enforcement career as a Defense Protective Service police officer and was a first responder at the Pentagon during the September 11, 2001, attacks. Throughout his career at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, he has progressed through the ranks where he served as a Court Liai-son Commander, Platoon Commander, Watch Commander and ultimately the Deputy Chief of the Operations Division.
AC Gerald Plummer graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy in 2010. Prior to civil service, AC Plummer served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
