PFPA Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear
 

Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) specialists are highly trained individuals capable of operating in various environments. They are technical experts diverse in full-spectrum CBRN protection and have an integral role in deterring the uses of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and Hazardous Materials. CBRN specialists provide world-class response and protection against CBRN threats to the Pentagon Reservation and select Department of Defense facilities within the National Capital Region.

Minimum Requirements for Employment
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must have Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction Hazmat specialized experience.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain Department of Defense Hazardous Materials Technician Certification (response team requirement).
  • Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Have not been convicted of any offense involving domestic violence or a felony.
  • Successfully complete an oral interview, medical examination, physical fitness evaluation, drug testing and a favorable background check.
  • Must have DD Form 214 showing honorable discharge, if claiming prior active duty military service.
Compensation

Salary ranges from $56,2335 – $88,450
