About the Directorate:
CIPD´s mission is to conduct world class executive protection services in support of the Secretary of Defense and any other designated high risk persons (HRP´s). CIPD conducts world class investigations pertaining to criminal acts perpetrated against the employees, visitors and facilities assigned to the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).
Key Functions:
- Criminal Investigations as well as crime repression and prevention
- Protective Service Unit
- Interview of suspects, witnesses, and victims of crimes
- Arrest of suspects of crimes
- Maintain evidence and testify in court
